The guys at LucasArts explained that their entire idea behind the force in this title was to be able to display unlike ever before. They know what you’ve seen in movies and games before and they wanted to take that look and feel and push the boundaries of it even further. In my honest opinion, I feel that they have. Some of these abilities and the way they look are absolutely gorgeous. At other points, like when using the force to slowly break down large metal doors, you truly sense the power and destructiveness of the force. It's really impressive when you experience it firsthand.
With so many great titles coming up and the majority of them being typical generic shooters, I think Star Wars: The Force Unleashed can find a pleasant home in any gamers library as that “change of pace, kick some ass” type game that's just non-stop fun.

This game is gonna be amazing.
i cant wait.
But i hope that releasing the game for EVERY platform other than PC hasn't watered down aspects of the game. I'll still buy it for PS3 and maybe rent it for PSP.

Star Wars is dead. The whole story is simply stupid. The prequels actually managed to take the original trilogy down a peg. And speaking of the "OT", Return of the Jedi wasn't all that great anyway. In all honesty, RotJ is more like one of the prequel fims than Episodes 4 and 5. In hindsight, it signaled the beginning of the end all the way back in 1983.

@8 Yeah, the prequels were never like the OT, but the series still isn't bad. And besides, there's A LOT more to Star Wars than the movies. You say the story sucks (I disagree, but that's not the point), then go read some of the hundreds of Expanded Universe books around that fill in all the grey areas. Especially the Thrawn Trilogy, those books are amazing.

i lov star wars but it seems that every star wars game i've playd, it's fun at first then gets super boring.

@swanky, the word nigg and ni*ga arent exactly racial slurrs, it means more or less close friend, brother, (please dont take offensively by sayin the following term, its just for explanation purposes) The word (hate it) ni*ger is a racial slur and is a bad one at that, listen to the music they dont say the n-r word just n-a, i myself dont realy have a right to say it although some of the friends i have that are african american wouldnt care if i did because of the meaning. please know what you say before you say it....i hate people like that PS(cant say full words due to blocking)

why does vaders apprentice seem more powful than him? unless vader can use electricity then he can't be the most powerful person in the force. Also in episode 6 I don't get why darth sidius doesn't just get Luke to join him rather than overthrow vader although that would defeat the whole purpose of Anakin having to defeat sidius. And you have to appreciate the story of the movies in order to enjoy them equally

with so many mediocre reviews of this glad to know you liked it... personallyi thought the demo was amazing fun... although the graphics had me severely dissapointed.
Hopefully this is one game where gameplay and awesomeness outweighs the dissapointment in the graphics department.
cant wait to play tomorrow.
