You may know him as the creator of No More Heroes and killer7, but Grasshopper Manufacture's resident genius Goichi Suda was creating crazy games long before the advent of the PlayStation 2. Case in point? The Silver Case, a detective adventure title for the original PlayStation, which is now tipped to appear on PlayStation Network.
Among the game's quirkier attributes is the Film Window, a versatile interface component which contains "all necessary information and images for the story’s procedure or presentation such as 3D CG, live-action images, 2D illustrations, motion graphics, typography, texts, etc." (Thanks Wikipedia.)
No release dates have been announced yet. Suda (or "Suda51", as fans know him) is apparently also at work on something rather hush-hush for Electronic Arts. Madden 2010, perhaps? We doubt it.
Hugs and kisses to 1UP for the original report.
