Capcom is still remaining tight-lipped as to when it plans to unleash the PlayStation Network iteration of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix in Europe.

The HD resurrection of the classic 1993 brawler hit the U.S. PlayStation Store in late November alongside a worldwide Xbox LIVE Arcade release, though has still yet to turn up in PAL territories.

When contacted by Videogamer.com on the matter, Capcom said: “There's nothing to say till we make an official announcement."

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) was also unable to offer any further insight into the dilemma, adding, "We don't get told about 3rd party releases until it's live."

To get an idea of what you’re missing out on, SSFII Turbo HD Remix takes the original classic beat ‘em up and slaps on a fresh coat of shiny, 1080p visuals, along with all-new online functionality and a remixed soundtrack.

Stay tuned to PSU for more details on the European release as they become available.

this is really starting to get on my nerves, i'm very very tempted to just buy a damn US PSN card and just buy it from the US store. I'm sick of this treatment that both the euro and australian stores get by sony, capcom or whoever is responsible for this kind of rubbish.

@ 1 i totally agree with you, its really starting to P.iss me off! If it comes out in the US why can't australian and the british terrortories get it the same time? Does common sense not exist anymore?

@3 I may be totally wrong in this assessment but there have been to my notice, a couple of occasions where a game like puzzle fighter 2 hd remix has been out on US PSN for perhaps a couple of months and then out of no where one update day it just materialises out of no where on the australian psn store. Its just so weird and inconsistant. I have a psn account for japan, us , australia and the UK, and i've noticed that generally the euro dates for psn are generally the same as the AUS ones so when i see stuff about the euro announcement i tend to assume that thier talking about the same thing.

This would be less annoying if they'd at least offer an explanation, however lame it may be.
