Last weeks Tokyo Games Show was one of the most successful gaming conventions ever held.

Boasting 193,040 journalists and consumers alike, Tokyo Game Show 2007 turned out to be an energy filled event during its four-day stint. These numbers show a slender improvement from the 2006 show, which packed approximately 192,411 visitors.

There was a range of 217 companies showcasing over 702 titles spanning multiple systems. To paraphrase the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association, co-sponsor of the event: “TGS 2007 has been a festival, it appealed to a diversity of game fans!”

Next year’s Tokyo Game Show will take place October 9-12, slightly later than usual.
