THQ cancels PS3 Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon

THQ has announced that it has cancelled Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon for PlayStation 3.

The Xbox 360 version is still on track, however, and will be released in North America on December 1.

The reasoning behind the cancellation is squarely placed on development issues, which we guess took them up until a week prior to release to realize were a problem.

Although it’s disconcerting to see yet another PS3 game shelved, we suggest picking up Prince of Persia in its place, as chances are, it'll be worth the asking price.

THQ obviously suffering from brown envelope syndrome as this is the second title that they've cancelled at short notice for PS3 while still managing to release fro the cr@pbox.

Does anybody remember Frontlines:Fuel of War.  That looked amazing but it never made it to Ps3 for even less reason than they are giving for this title.  MS exclusivity deal I bet

Not really a big deal, there are too many great games that developers ARE happy to make for the PS3 for me to worry about this. :-) That said, it's too bad for those people who were looking forward to this game and don't have a 360 owning friend to vist.

Thats just pathetic, THQ better not come out with a reason, because the way I see it, the ps3 has been out for long anough for there to be absolutely no reason why a developer cancels a game from development issues.

Frontlines was crap, good concept but gameplay and graphics were a joke, and an insult to Battlefield players.  This looks like something tat will fizzle quick anyway.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Red Faction: Guerilla gets canned as well. THQ = EA, as far as I'm concerned.
