THQ has picked up publishing rights to upcoming sequel 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, according to a listing filed by Australia’s Office of Film and Literature Classification.

The game was dropped by Activision following the company’s merge with Vivendi Games earlier this year, with rumours materialising soon after that the title had been cancelled altogether.

However, sources close to developer Swordfish Studios have since claimed that the title is near to completion and still scheduled for release.

Further games yet to receive a publisher following the merger includes Ghostbusters, Brutal Legend and The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena.

Strange,i'd have thought out of that list it would have been ghosbusters which would be the one that got picked up first.Followed by chronicles, legend and then the 50 cent game.

You can tell by my default pic I cant wait for this. Stoppin hating on 50 Cent the first one wasn't that great but give this one a chance. The developers, producers, and 50 Cent himself said this will be way better
