Tenchu 4 is coming to PSP

According to the latest issue of Famitsu magazine (as translated by Gamekyo), From Software's Tenchu 4 is now coming to PlayStation Portable.
A rather odd choice of secondary platform, you might think, given that the game was first released for Nintendo's Wii, whose controls are very much chalk to the PSP's cheese. We suspect the handheld's similar levels of technological grunt - slightly less powerful than the PS2, speaking loosely, where the Wii is slightly more - have a lot to do with it, as may its comparable success at Japanese retail.
Besides the fact of its existence, not much is known about the PSP version. The Wii game sees the return of the scarred Rikimaru and waif-like accomplice Ayame, with players sneaking, stabbing and slashing their way through ten missions and more than fifty sidequests.
According to Gamekyo, Tenchu 4 PSP is due out in Japan next February. While the Wii version is down for release in North America and Europe in Q1 2009, a western release for the port has yet to be confirmed.

dont care about Tenchu anymore, only bought the first which was fun, then it was like they couldnt decide which platform to realse the games on

i want a decent Tenchu game for the PS3 (made by Activision) and MUST have a mission editor + customized storyline(for singleplayer and multiplayer online),character editor(that would be awesome),realistic IA and more new stealth kills.
#3 Tenchu Stealth Assassins as already a remake(kind of...) on Tenchu Wrath of Heaven (or more known as tenchu 3 ) for the PS2.
the best Tenchu game for me is the 2nd.

i would rather them put this game on ps3, but i'll still buy it. love steal game espically NINJA'ss.

Uh.......did they forget about a certain system to put this on?? WTH. Tenchu first came out on the PS1 so it only seems proper to re-make it or do a continuation on the PS3.

great news i hope they make a new tenchu game exclusively on the PS3 although its impossible with Microsoft's divine console around

tenchu on ps3 would b absolutly awesome. probably aint gonna happen though the last 1 was an xbox 360 exclusive

I've owned every single TENCHU Game since the PS1! I've got 5 Tenchu Games and all of them for PS1, PS2 & PSP! So SONY is the main source for that Game's Saga! I love stealth games like MGS & Splinter Cell, but Tenchu had made the difference! Stealth game in the 16th century with Ninjas, Samurais, Archers, Martial Artists, Map Editors etc! That's simply awesome and unique! Another TENCHU for PS3 would be essential and a must for every TENCHU fan! I think it's about time for the creators to develop another TENCHU Game for the PS3 with Level Editor!
