The Club delayed until 2008

Sega announced today that the upcoming shooter The Club will not make the 2007 Holiday line-up, with the game now pushed into that ugly gray area known to gamers as "Early 2008."

Developled by Bizarre creations, the new title is touted to do to shooters what Project Gotham did for the racing genre by injecting both fun and freshness into the action. In "The Club", gamers will rack up scores rather than kills, a feat accomplished by "stringing combination kills together, landing ricochet shots, and generally pulling off impressive moves like a great big dirty show off."

Looks to be an interesting take on gun battles, but with the current popularity of FPS and 3PS, this title should provide hours of fun.

The game looks promising, whenever it may hit the shelves. Stay tuned to PSU for more information or check out our exclusive interview here.

i hope people don't try to blame the PS3 version of the game for this delay like they did with GTA4 and so many others...

psn id: gingo... more and more companies are delaying their games because of the competition this year and it seems quite a smart move imo
