The Darkness delayed for Europe

2K Games has officially confirmed that the European PlayStation 3 version of The Darkness is delayed till July. The game was originally scheduled for a release on June 29th for both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 in Europe. The Xbox 360 release date remains the same.
According to various online retailers, The Darkness for PS3 is now on schedule for a release on July 20th. However, 2K Games would only confirm a July window.
If you just can't wait to get some hands-on time with The Darkness, it is possible to import from the U.S. as all PlayStation 3 titles are region free.
In North America the game will still be released on June 25th on both consoles. The reason for the delay in Europe is unknown.
