With our feature regarding 2 Days to Vegas still fresh in our heads, we seriously did a double take when we heard about this game. Yet another open world title regarding Las Vegas, simply titled ‘This is Vegas,’ is in development at Surreal's Seattle studio.
With an egomaniacal madman trying to make Vegas more family friendly, you're on a mission to protect the true heart and soul of this iconic city. It finally seems that what happens in Vegas, won't stay in Vegas via the game’s satire-filled take on the city. Expect to see sex, violence, gambling, and plenty of slick cars.
The title, published by Midway, is aiming for a release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this coming fall. The game is expected to be rated M for Mature -- we could never ponder why that might be.
More on this upcoming sandbox title set in Sin City soon.

This is not a GTA clone lol its something new, Sandbox was NOT invented by gta! not that i dont love GTA but it needs to atleast have a half decent story to it! and thats what i think GTA lacks.
Im still buying it though :) lol -

Cool. We need more good sandbox games. And This is Vegas seems pretty cool. It differs from GTA, so imo it is no clone. And a good story/setting hurts no one ;-)
