Three new screenshots of Sony's PlayStation Home service have cropped up on the net this afternoon, featuring everything from new avatar models to a unique city night scene.
According to earlier reports, PlayStation Home's public beta is set to hit sometime before the end of the year. For those of you who are annual Qore subscribers, Sony will be treating you to a special Home invite with Qore episode 6 today. Check out the new screenshots below, courtesy of PS3clan.nl.

Shut the heck up and stop complaining. If you don't care for HOME skip the news and don't download it when it's released. The people complaining about it not being released would've been the same fools complaining about the lag or bugs. They said before the end of the year. Kick your feet up and relax. You've waited more than a year, a mere month isn't going to hurt. Chill out.

It'll come when its ready. They said by the end of the year and from what my buddy in the closed beta tells me and what I see here they are almost ready. I'd rather wait a bit and have an experience that is almost perfection than have Sony go the Microsoft route and release it with bugs half done.

It might be annoying for the wait, but I'll download and enjoy Home regardless of how long it takes. Besides, I'm gonna love the kick in the face to this so called " Xbox experience " when home obliterates it.

If it ever comes out it will be nice. like #3 said, the hype is gone. The people that were thinking of picking up a PS3 for this has forgotten about it. Guess this is just like having AOL on the PS2? hahahaha

I think if Home is just a pretty place to advertise commercial products and meet and interact with avatars, it will garner a modest but limited audience. I'm waiting to find out if the consumer will be allowed to input creatively for profit as in Second Life. If so, I believe that would transform Home from just a vacation spot to an exciting place to live.

We have this in Australia already - its called a Wesfields shopping center - It's bl.oody boring. Just a place thats airconditioned and lots of advertisements to flog stuff you dont need. Where's the innovation in that?
By the looks of things Home will be filled with avatars trying to dress and be something their owners are not. Its a home for just a boring bunch of trie-hards wan.king themselves. This aint for true gamers - its just a copy of second life - a place for people who dont have one in the first sense.
