The latest issue of PlayStation Magazine has revealed the likes of two new "unannounced" PlayStation 3 games, Damnation and Recoil: Retrograde.
Damnation is an action title currently being developed by Blue Omega and will be published by Codemasters. The levels within the game are very large and can take up to three hours to complete, but there is no need to worry about getting tired of playing mid-level as there are ways to make you move faster such as the use of vehicles.
It is also noted that the main hero possesses something called, "spirit vision," which will allow you to see the will of your enemies to help aid you in coming up with a combat plan, similar to the Eagle Vision in Assassin's Creed. As it stands right now, we don't know much about the actual scenario of the game except that you play as a character named Captain Hamilton Rourke, whose aim is to avenge the killing of his squad.
Recoil: Retrograde is also an action game, but differs by being a third person shooter and was created by a writer from the Hitman series. You take control of a guy named David Artman who travels back in time to change history.
The game itself is being developed using the popular Unreal Engine 3 and takes place in a single city, but in different times.

Levels shouldn't be massive !! More like there should be a ton of short ones so people can play the game in quick bursts !!

The title of the article is misleading. It says two new "PS3" titles, therefore people think these games are PS3 exclusive. Seeing as one of them is being published by Codemasters I highly doubt it will be exclusive. Only when I see a game being published by Sony Computer Entertainment is when I'll get excited for an exclusive. Let's face it, folks. After MGS4 I doubt we'll be getting any exclusives from anyone other than Sony themselves.

Wow, that's nice to hear. I'm glad that 3rd party developers are making PS3 exclusives and are showing some interest in the PS3. I had thought that 2008 would be one of the last years that we would see 3rd party exclusive games for the PS3. I am a regular reader of the Official Playstation Magazine and I need to pick up a copy of the new issue.
