UK Charts: Resistance 2 hits top ten, CoD remains no.1

Despite some hiccups involving EUK shortages, Insomniac’s Resistance 2 has managed to scrape into the UK All Format Charts at number ten, as the formidable Call of Duty: World at War remains in pole position for yet another week running.
Sonic’s latest attempt at convincing punters that the hedgehog’s 3D outings aren’t complete rubbish didn’t fare too well on the other hand, with the game failing to make waves on either the top 40 or PlayStation 2 charts, putting in an appearance on the Xbox 360 and Wii charts only.
Recent entries Need for Speed: Undercover and Tomb Raider: Underworld gained some momentum, however, rising to two and seven, respectively, while LittleBigPlanet continued its down hill tumble to 32.

r2 is in the top 10 but it had only been on the market 3 days and not a whole week so i think nr 10 is quite good. need to see next weeks figures as it should be a better reflection. little sad that lbp was outsold by wall-e and just managed to beat high school musical 3.
oh and tadpole grow up. i don't like fifa but i take offense at being generalised (sorry thats generalized) as being stupid and thick-witted.

Kinda sad that LBP isn't selling that well. This is why devs wanna go multi-platform with their titles. Granted the PS3 has more market share in Europe than the 360 does, but it's a shame that more people won't get to play LBP, as I think it's a really innovative game. The sales were not stellar in the US either. The last minute delay I'm sure was partly to blame, but regardless still had less sales than expected. COD being #1 isn't surprising, but again, with all the hype surrounding R2, i'm also suprised it isn't selling better either.

What you have to relise is, in the Uk i could garantee there will be a Wii advert in 8/10 of ad breaks, i have seen one LBP advert its marketing, people aint gonna know about a game being out, if they dpont know about it!

Wow. People bashing people in the UK and people in the UK naturally assuming that it must be Americans. Ever thought tadpole350 could be Canadian or an Australian? Are the UK citizens still pissed off about the Revolutionary War or have an inferiority complex?
