I don't want to fully believe this yet...  He did say there would be no demo, so I don't want to get my hopes up yet...

Now all I want is a confirmation of a Limited Edition release.

Yeah, they lost to the Giants and that sucks. At least the  game was close. Anyway, if they release a demo for this game that's cool. However, NO demo will ever hold me over until the actual game comes out. I don't think there's been a demo I've ever played more than once. I just want the game!!!!!

If it is a demo, it will take a lot of my free time. Don't disappoint me Kojima, lol

I thought they already said "no demo" due to: time to make sure quality is top notch for final project. EDIT: Well maybe Konami changed their minds, it looks like we will get a demo after all. Im very happy that we do get a demo.

Kojima Productions Team (Ryan Payton) said in an interview that they are too busy on the game to do a demo so there is none planned but regardless i hope what the magazine says is true.

But most probably it will end up being a video demo.

sweet. i'm going to try to get my router up and running. i hope gamestop will just be selling another demo disc for it. cuz i'd buy it for 10 bucks or so just so i can play it before it comes out

There ain't gonna be a demo...bear in mind that magazines are sent to publishers a minimum of a month before they hit the streets...this probably was what people thought before Konami said there wouldn't be a demo...

Personally i would love one but i'll be buying the game one way or another so it's not a big deal.

There is a demo..... thats what these reviewer have been playing but normally those demo's are not released to the public. If it has been ok'ed then it makes senese that this demo would hit. Other than that it really doesn't seem like the dev team is taking away from their time on the full product to work on a demo.

thats over 3 months b4 the release date, so it must be coming out sooner than we think.

I hope it's true....but it hasn't been confirmed yet....no one knows if there really will be a demo...and strange considering they said there wouldn't be one in the beginning....even if it was the playable demo that has been available that would be cool too.....but not holding my breath. 

finally some good news!!!! i really want to play this game so that i can say this is the best ps3 game around lol

Isn't there supposed to be a "?" in the title,because it isn't a confirmation from the devs that the DEMO will be released in February,it just says the 'stage played here'.Because the title could lead ppl to believe it is an announcement from Kojima/Konami,when it is clearly not.

It'd be a smart move - they would sell a $hit load more copies by releasing a demo and not only appealing to the fans but newcomers of the MGS series.
