A new development team has been founded in Montreal, formed by Ubisoft veterans that have worked on titles including Prince of Persia Classic, Splinter Cell, Shaun White's Snowboarding, and the soon to be released Far Cry 2.

The new studio has been named Trapdoor, and is currently working on an original IP for the PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.

No information on how big the team currently is, but we hope to learn more about its upcoming project soon.

Stay tuned.

should be interesting to see what they come up with. and I hope they're smart enough to start development on PS3 first.
