Uncharted 2 tops October sales

As expected, Naughty Dog’s hit PlayStation 3 exclusive Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, was the biggest seller in October, according to recent NPD Group figures. Uncharted 2 sold some 537,000 units – the one million figure we heard about earlier today likely includes November.
Americans spent $573.73 million (USD) on video game software in October, down some 18% from last year.
Here are the top 10 games from October:
01. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS3) - 537,000
02. Wii Fit Plus (Wii) - 441,000
03. Borderlands (Xbox 360) - 418,000
04. Wii Sports Resort (Wii) - 314,000
05. NBA 2K10 (Xbox 360) - 311,000
06. Halo 3 ODST (Xbox 360) - 271,000
07. NBA 2K10 (PS3) - 213,000
08. Forza Motorsport 3 (Xbox 360) - 175,000
09. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (DS) - 169,000
10. FIFA Soccer 10 (Xbox 360) - 156,000

Don't rag on Bioshock
if you understood any of the philosophy or the topics explored, and knew how it came together to make what is easily one of the most in depth pieces of media of all time, a comment like 'best game this gen' wouldn't come as much as a shock

I think uncharted 2 is better than mgs 4 and bioshock imo.

Modern warfare 2 is a good war game and really fun to play online but no way it is better than uncharted 2 single player.I will say I like modern warfare 2 online better.

@3 multiplayer wise yes, but if MW2 was solely singleplayer then uncharted just wipes the floor clean with it

uncharted 2 modern warfare 2 who cares play em both there both amazing games that are gonna get alot of playtime in my ps3

i'm am soo sick of people talkin about mw2...it's not that good of a game when u compare it to games that have already came out on the ps3 exlusively, like....killzone 2, uncharted 2, MGS4,..and resistance 2...imo i believe all those games are better than mw2..so stop talkin about it and start playin other great games...and most of these people that are sayin mw2 is the best game ever are 360 gamers, so they don't even know how good other games are, like the ones i mentioned...

@21, no matter how many people say they hate public transport, the mw2 hype train was the biggest and most most vague i'v ever seen. telling pc gamers that they dropped dedicated servers a few days before it came out so they wouldn't pull there pre-orders, hundreds of negative reviews deleted from amazon.com. cod4 was good but for people to believe that activision would let IW bring out a FULL game in two years are just impulse buyers plain and simple. don't believe everything you read. if they did bring out a demo, it would be half the length of the actual game, i just don't think it deserves any praise. great games take alot of time to make, simple as that

@1 Bioshock was terrible...well, okay--mediocre
im really surprised Demon's Souls didn't make this list because it was realeased early, got great reviews and is an amazing game. I actually know 14 people who own it and I just can't believe it didn't even push 156000 units :(
but Borderlands is #3? i didn't see that coming
and Forza is only #8? I don't like it but it got great reviews
and dear god, not wii fit again

@23...why do you think all those games i mentioned took so long to make...cause "great games take alot of time to make, simple as that"...but yea i didn't really catch all of wht u said srry bout that, but if u get back on to check this can u plz restate wht u mean, just so i understand all of wht ur sayin,lol.

uc2 is a marvel ... I still find myself stopping to take in the incredible atmosphere they have created. Naughty dog have set the standard for action-adventure gaming. Not only does it pay hommage to a wide variety of films and games, it stands up in it's own right as a spectacular production.
UC2 is fast-paced, highly polished and a real treasure to play. Pardon the pun.

It's funny to see UC2 beat halo 3 when you consider that 360 has a better instal base than ps3, guess that just proves that ps3 exclusive games are of better qaulity than thoes of 360!
