According to another tweet from Sony PR Jake Osuwah, Sony will release its VidZone service on the PS3 very soon in Europe.
"VIDZONE for the PlayStation 3 is now CONFIRMED coming real soon. Watch thousands of free music videos right on your PS3!" reads the message.
In addition to Osuwah’s comment, CVG has posted an exclusive video (embedded below) demonstrating how VidZone will work. From our understanding, VidZone is basically an online music video service, although David Reeves has hinted that users will be able to listen to VidZone music while playing games. CVG reports that you will be able to download videos and ringtones to your mobile phone through VidZone for around £1.50.
There is no official release date for the service yet, but if speculation is to be believed, it will either go live during E3 or later this summer.
