Warhawk Expansion Pack Coming this December

A new Warhawk downloadable expansion pack is to be coming to the PlayStation Network this December. The expansion titled as "Operation: Omega Dawn" was officially announced by Sony in a press release today. Omega Dawn marks the first expansion pack for the PS3's online-only multiplayer action game since it's release in August.
For those of you not familiar with Warhawk, it's a third person action title that allows you to take combat to the air, on foot, or in an assortment of land vehicles with an all sorts of weapons at your disposal.
The expansion download will consist of a brand new map, the Omega Factory, as well as a brand new vehicle in the form of the KT-424 Combat Dropship. You’ll activate the vehicle once you gain control of one of the many weapons factories in the Omega Factory.
The Omega Factory map takes place in an industrial night-time setting where players will fight through five new layouts of advanced building complexes and huge industrial towers. The new map supports all existing game modes and will be the largest combat zone to date for the game.
The KT-424 Combat Dropship is capable of transporting 1 pilot, 6 soldiers and 1 ground vehicle while featuring a deadly new weapon – the MBEC-3 Heavy Support Cannon. The new map included in the expansion will take advantage of this new vehicle as it is full of vertical gameplay, integrating ship decks, raised platforms, and factory rooftops accessible only by airborne deployment.
Sony did not mention any word on pricing or an actual release date, just be on the look out for this expansion pack in December.

It's good to see news that everyone is happy about :D Though it shouldn't be that expensive, since it's really just one map! Though with a lot of cool new features ;) One day, i'm gonna get a job, get an extra SixAxis (or DS3) Warhawk.... and then expansion....Then maybe Rock Band :)

This is really going to be great because Im going to get this game on Christmas and I will be able to buy the expansion pack for it.

sounds fun, i was hopeing for maybe a snow covered level and some new weapons like a shotgun or a flash bang grenade. o well maybe next pack.
anyone else have any ideas for future updates
