Warner Bros has announced that the upcoming videogame adaptation of Terminator: Salvation will be released to coincide with the film’s launch in May 2009.
The sci-fi romp is currently in the development at Halcyon Games, and is expected to hit current generation consoles and PC.
John Quinn, Executive Vice President at Warner Bros Interactive, commented, “Building on the incredibly strong franchise, Terminator Salvation will be a cinematic gaming experience that complements the upcoming film.”
The film takes place during a post-apocalyptic 2018, staring Christian Bale as human resistance leader John Conner and Sam Warrington as a decommissioned Terminator named Marcus Wright.
Stay tuned.

Additionally it has Christopher Nolan's brother scriptwriting (Of The Dark Knight fame).
Bale is usually a good litmus test of how good a project will be.
Still McG?

I think Bale could do a good role, the governator is kind of old now and the terminator franchise needs a new face. As long as it's not another step backwards like with T3 it should be a good movie.

Whos actually looking forward to the game of the movie? It'll just be a rushed product, priced at full price with of which. Idiots will buy as usual.
If they want to make a Terminator game, do it based off all three original ones like what Gearbox are doing with Aliens.

***** can't believe he won't be in it. they might do a flash back thing like of a dream john connor has or something. but, still going to go see it. to bad arnold isn't in it. video games based on movies suck. not worth wasting 60 bucks and i would rather be sitting in the theater watching the movie and only spending 10 or 11.00 on food and a ticket. if the movie is usually good i like to see it one or twice in theaters. another dvd i want that is coming out is the DARK KNIGHT!

I think there was too much hype around T3, for me I liked it but I still prefer T2. Christian Bale is a great actor, I think this is at least 1 good reason to see the film!
