With the movie's delay still fresh on the minds of many, Watchmen fans can at least take consolation in the fact that that Warner Brothers has plans to release a video game that will coincide with the release of the film. Much like Siren, Watchmen: The End is Nigh will be distributed episodically through the PlayStation Network . The details revolving around the gameplay are still limited, but the game will be a prequel to the movie's storyline.
For fans frightened of the classic movie-game shovelware, know that the game's development team will be bringing a lot of the original graphic novel contributors on board. This includes artist Dave Gibbons and editor Len Wein, but unfortunately excludes Alan Moore.

Simply put Watchmen is sacred and just shouldn't be messed with, be it film or videogame or Burger King promotion.
Ofcourse Alan Moore won't be involved, with such adaptations of his work like From He#l (Johnny Depp's character is not even in the book!), the juvenile adaptation of V for Vendetta, the ordeal that was LXG (Is The League of Extraordinary Gentleman just too much to say?), Constantine (Where does one even start?) who can blame him?
