GameTrailers has posted the opening cinematic for Level 5’s White Knight Chronicles, which made its eagerly awaited Japanese debut on December 25 exclusively for PlayStation 3.
The footage can be seen below, although we advise you not to take a peak unless you aren’t fussed about spoiling the intro for yourself.
Despite a somewhat muted critical response from Japan’s prestigious Famitsu magazine, White Knight Chronicles managed to shift over 130,000 units on its first day of release, eclipsing day one sales of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto IV in the process.
The game has yet to attract a western release date.

@no.7
resistance 2: alien virus (alien as in not know not from space) developed by the russians takes over EU and america must make its last stand
cod5: hitlers germany is in full swing and as a russian you have to over power them and crush what resistance remains.
i beg to differ no. 7 your talking about gameplay and it is mostly the same in each type of game. stories do differ in most well developed game

@3 your name describe yor comment like everybody said, every FPS is the same R2, Halo, Killzone etc. fight off Aliens in some form. L4D, Bioshock, FEAR, Jericho, Doom, (Fallout 3) fight off some type of zombi or half dead or mutain person or creature. so whats ur point....

It's hard to have somethings that's COMPLETELY original these days because so much has been done in movies, television, games, music, etc... It's how the story is told and what significant twists make the experience unique. I'm looking forward to this one.

Game looks pretty awesome, Famitsu has a lot of reviews that are just 'odd', so I'll have to see what others think. I mean, it needs to have some qualities, I'll see if reviewers think the game has those qualities.
BTW, WOW grayfox, just WOW.

Your wrong oatmeal,KZ and Resistance are nothing like Halo outside of being FPS games.They actually have good single player modes.Bioshock has one of the most interesting stories and concepts this gen which is better than most RPG stories in the past 5 or so years.As a person that likes RPG over FPS,I have to admit that tadpole is right.
You also need to do a little more research,because Fallout is NOT a shooter,it's an RPG.I am also sick of the characters being teenagers and looking like J Pop singers.For once I want a mature character that appeals to me.I'm 25 years old this month and I am starting to lose interest in the cliche RPG style.At least shooters do seperate them selves by design and setting.
Mosr RPG games are set in some kingdom and it's boring now.With that said,I will still pick up WKC if I am still interested when it finally comes out,because GOW3,Infamous and KZ2 are really the only games that i am interested in this year.

@ 3- tadpole3159, man your ignorant the way you gave your comment. The same could be the same with FPS titles, theres one madman trying to nuke and its our job to cancel/ruin his plans. Shoot a.is every level and move in. Just hush man, considering this is the 1st ever jrpg to hit on ps3. They may look similiar, but its what the story in the game that differentiates itself from the other titles of the same genre. The uniqueness of story told throughout in games, also reflects in some FPS titles, i think thats why some FPS titles are accepted as a good game because of it. Take Bioshock for example, its got a good story and thats what makes it establish itself as a good game.

@Darknemesis
You're mistaking the Japanese culture with a style that they're trying to set. It's not that all the characters in JRPG's look young and eccentric from what westerners are used to, it's that Japanese people actually dress and look like that.
It appears to me that you are looking for more of a hardcore, Gears of War "macho" type American thing, but I could be wrong.

AT those who replied to 3;
He means the story not what you do.
in fps you shoot but most fps have different stories.
and racing games; they are simulation games. They cannot have a story. like microsoft flight simulator it also doesn't have a story. So what you only drive but driving is fun.
