Win a LBP Crown by celebrating PS3's birthday

Is it possible to find anything cooler in the LittleBigUniverse than your very own SackBoy crown? We certainly don’t think so.
Sony is currently running yet another LittleBigChallenge, involving users crafting their very own PlayStation 3-themed birthday stage in the hope of raking in the most votes from the gaming community.
Some of you may have noticed that the PlayStation 3 turned two years old a couple of days ago on November 17, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Sony is looking to capitalize on this milestone through their most innovative exclusive to date (that's LittleBigPlanet, in case you didn't already guess)
The rules are quite simple, with the deadline for entries listed as December 9, 2009. We've included the list of rules below.
1. Create an original LittleBigPlanet level celebrating the PLAYSTATION 3 second anniversary.
2. You must name your Level using this format. "LBC1 -< YourLevelNameHere >".
3. Publish your Level to the LittleBigPlanet online server at any time up until 11:59am PST December 9, 2008 when the contest closes.
4. Send an e-mail submission to community_support@playstation.sony.com and indicate your level name (LBC1 - < YourLevelNameHere >) in the subject line. Include your PlayStation Network ID along with the name of your Level in your e-mail submission.

i think this is a dumb idea.... same as the other 'MAKE YOUR OWN SACKBOY' idea... they really shouldint stoop so low as makeing ppl. due the work for them, they can easliy just send out crowns by DLC or make lv. themselves.. also the first one was a fail, they didnt even give credit to the ppl. who created costumes, LBP is a good game but sony is riding it to hard, they should just send out some good lbp content of there own to all the ppl.

You miss the entire idea of LittleBigPlanet, you tw@t. The point is the developers give us the tools, us the gamers, do EVERYTHING else. Make levels, characters, stories, sounds blah blah blah. It's our jobs, not really theirs now. This is LBP's selling point, and the entire reason it's so bl00dy popular and so innovative....Lawlz.

I understand where you're coming from, It be cool if Sony did give it to everyone I mean yeah we bought the ps3 right? but at the same time people shoud really read the terms and agreement and truly understand them before they want to be in this contest. It states on the rules that these levels will belong to Sony and if anyone is not confortable with that then I recommend not to submit anything. But now that when you do, its bye bye owenership. Clear and simple. (the same thing happened with the costumes and the winner was announced, she thanked everyone and hoped we all enjoy the costume"

4 is totally wrong and he IS missing the whole point. The game is designed around creativity. They're pointing out a theme for people to make a new level with, giving structure is the best way to foster a feeling of community and then awarding the person that does the best job.
And He's ranting about the costume contest without even bothering to listen to the other side, Yeah a bunch of people complained that sony MIGHT have stolen their ideas but if that's the case so did a hundred other people because there were multiples of those ideas submitted and you cant say they were all looking over each others shoulders and copying. The bigger a community the less likely your idea is going to be original. Just look at how many MGS, Sonic or Ico levels there are right now you dont think they all looked at one another and said "I'm going to copy him!" they all thought they were comming out with their own idea.

iGaveMySoul4aPS3 was the only person on this site to say happy birthday 2 ps3. Then 2 days later he gets banned for expresssion o feeling toward a certain feline staff member after she threw his perfectly legal by the rules post away. FREE iGaveMySoul4aPS3 Before its to late. Do they have rights in england?

i want that crown. but i havent even tried to create a level yet im on the one of the last levels with that big a** wheel or should i say deathtrap i had to stop playing for awhile cuz i almost broke my controller trying to past that level,i wanted to past the game before i created anything but idk that crown looks bad a**....... GOOD LUCK TO YOU GUYS THAT ARE TRING TO GET IT !

That is way too much work just for a freakin' crown. They are treating costumes like gold for this game. $2 to download a costume now all this wotk for a crown?? Get over yourself!

A lot of you people are completely missing the point of the crown...it's supposed to be a reward for an especially creative person. It's basically a status symbol. If they just gave them to everyone it wouldn't really mean very much would it?...Do you people even understand the concept of this game?

@14 & 15: Do you two even have the game? It seems like you're completely missing the point here. Its just like the reward from the warhawk tournament where the winner had a platinum staff trophy as replacement for the wrench weapon. It's something to show off >_<
