WipEout HD website launched

Sony has launched the official European website for its upcoming PlayStation Network title, WipEout HD.

The site contains a plethora of content on the futuristic racing title, including game information, playable environments, along with a selection of downloadable content including 1080p videos and wallpapers.

Developed by Sony’s Liverpool Studio, WipEout HD is a forthcoming downloadable title for the PlayStation Network, featuring 1080p high definition graphics, Dolby 5.1 sound as well as a plethora of tracks from both WipEout Pure and WipEout Pulse.

The game is currently slated to appear in the second quarter of 2008.

    That's very ambitious for a PSN title. Well, it's good they're making an effort.

    The website has been live for nigh on 2 weeks!!!
    I'm really lookin gforward to this game, just wish they'd give us a release date!!! With any luck it'll be one of the first items on the revamped PSN store!!!

    Whadda yer know, the site requires Flash Player 8 of which the PS3 doesn't have yet.

    Its a pretty bad ommision, there a loads of supposed ps3 websites that dont support the ps3 browser.

    psn id: gingo.... cant wait for this title, apart from the first wipeout (too hard) the rest have been excellent so i hope they have continued the trend

    This is like a amazing game I can't wait but it doesn't give details on multiplayer!   Will I be able to play with my 3 controls I bought for no reason cause no games use them!  Or will I be stuck with a single player mode.

    I checked the site out. The videos look great and the music sounds amazing. I'll definatley pick this one up.
