World In Conflict announced for PS3

World of Conflict was an RTS game designed specifically for the PC. Fortunately, today the game was announced for both the PlayStation 3 and the XBOX 360. The game has plenty of great features such as team-based multiplayer, destructive environments, and focuses on hard-hitting battles. The game revolves around the US Vs Soviet Union as though the Cold War never ended.

The console version will come packaged with a ton of single and multiplayer content that isn’t released for the PC yet.

Worldwide Studios had this to say along with the announcement. “World in Conflict was one of the best games on any platform in 2007 and its innovative action-focused gameplay makes it a perfect fit for the transition to consoles,” said Martin Tremblay, president of worldwide studios, Sierra Entertainment. “World in Conflict is being reinvented for Xbox 360 and the PS3, with innovative features and new single player and multiplayer content created for the console audience. World in Conflict on consoles will be an amazing extension of an already great gaming franchise.”

With a lack of RTS titles for the PlayStation 3 console, this is a great addition for the library of growing games.

    psn id: gingo... this game looked awesome on pc so the console versions shuold be just as good

    So much for the ps3 being teh suXorz eh? Screw this game, and these retarded devs, they hate on the ps3 this whole time, say that it is IMPOSSIBLE to run on ps3, then magically they wanna be all up on our nutz.

    the pc version does not loot special at all, just another RTS outa the thousands. unless we get some real devs for RTS, the ps3 is doomed in the RTS genere.

    yeah it might be a good edition to its libary, but, of course if it was exclusive, it'd mean alot m ore to ps3, srry, i guess im just sick of hearing about all these new games coming out and like. NONE of them are exclusives to ps3 :(

    an rts on a console? i mean i like rts on the computer but i never liked the controls of an rts on a console. but the idea and story sounds pretty good!

    sorry to say but i really didnt like the demo at all, very horrible, i couldnt stand it for some reason, played the co-op full through then that was it...

    Played the game, its awersome too bad I wont buy it, dont want to play the same xxx as on the PC

    Not that I'm complaining, but whats with all these RTS games all of a sudden making their nest on the console front?

    RTSs only work with keyboard and mouse, so instead of unplugging everything, I'll just stick with the PC version.
