PSP firmware 3.50 released

  • Posted June 9th, 2007 at 04:07 EDT by Eric Blattberg

Last week's firmware update to 1.80 provided a plethora of new features and abilities for PlayStation 3 owners. One included remote play worldwide provided you are in a wireless hotspot. Yet this feature remained unusable, until now.

The PSP's newest firmware upgrade to 3.50 allows worldwide remote play access to anybody with a PlayStation 3. You'll be able to watch all the videos on your hard drive, check out photos, listen to music, or even access your friends list via the PSP.

The update also adds an RSS channel guide for owners who use their portables to receive RSS feeds.

We'll keep you informed on future updates.
