Rockstar has taken to Twitter to confirm it has no plans to release a playable demo of Max Payne 3.

The news shouldn’t come as surprise considering the industry giant has traditionally opted against releasing demoes for its titles.

“There are no plans for a demo of Max Payne 3,” said the firm.

Max Payne 3 picks up a few years after the events of its predecessor, with our hero now employed in the private security sector for a wealthy family in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The bullet-time blaster is pencilled for release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the U.S. on May 15, with a European launch due on May 18. The PC version arrives in early June.
