Devil May Cry 4 US demo to arrive earlier than expected

It’s not a usual occurrence that we say that we’re wrong but happy. We initially reported that a Devil May Cry demo would be available on the PlayStation Store on January 31, but that date appears to have jumped forwards a week.

Capcom has announced that the Devil May Cry 4 demo, which features a multitude of areas from the complete game, will be hitting the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live this Thursday, January 24. This means you won’t have to grab it from the Japanese PS Store and deal with the language barrier, as suggested yesterday.

The demo will feature a tutorial, which will get players up to speed on the Nero’s nifty Devil Bringer. After fighting in a multitude of environments, expect the demo to climax with an epic boss battle already seen at events such as E3 ’07 and TGS ’07. Let’s just say something quite large and fiery is involved, and it may happen to be this guy:

The full version of Devil May Cry 4 is set to be released on February 5.
