The final announcement from Sony’s press conference at E3 today was MAG, or Massive Action Game. We know what you’re thinking – the name isn’t exactly original. But the features of the game back up its name.
MAG will feature 256-player online. Players will be split into 8 person squads, and all 256 will battle it out in one world. A trailer showing an extremely hectic warzone was shown with all sorts of weapons including grenades, mounted machine guns and possibly planes too. It wasn’t an in-game trailer but then no one knows how far off the title is. The rep from Zipper Interactive said they’d been working on the title for three years now.
