Sega Classics coming to PlayStation Network

The ESRB has gone ahead and provided new ratings for four of Sega's classic titles that seem to be making their way to the PlayStation Network. Among the titles listed is the cult-classic, Sonic the Hedgehog 3. The three other titles mentioned include Phantasy Star II, Comix Zone and Gunstar Heroes.
Unfortunately, there has yet to be any release dates given for either North America or Europe. However, we'd bet a good amount of money that the European release will see some sort of delay in comparison to their North American counterpart. Hopefully, they all hit the store worldwide on the same date.
What's odd, is the fact these titles have been available on the Wii for quite some time now. So, it's only fitting that they make there way over to our Store. Once a date is given, we'll be sure to keep you guys posted.

Wow, predicting that something that hasn't even been announced yet might get a delayed release in Europe. What is this? FUD.com? After the LBP incident (MGS content turns up with the rest of the Euro store update, right on schedule) I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Hey Fiddles, where were you once I showed you even IGN confirmed the Dec 23rd release in europe for the MGS stuff? Oh, that's right...you disappeared. Quit with your constant complaining in the comment section, it's getting old.
Also, lol, what else would you expect a prediction to be? It's supposed to occur before anything is announced. That's what makes it a PREDICTION.

Did IGN provide a reliable source? Are you saying IGN are more reliable than PSU for fact checking (actually phoning SCEE PR) before posting a story? I'm sure you realise that interview (not the intro) was conducted in advance, at a time when Mm wouldn't have known the release specifics. Ultimately what you were complaining about was a less than 24 hour wait for Euro gamers after North America. Japanese gamers haven't got their MGS pack yet, I'm sure they're patient enough to wait another 4-5 hours. Let's explain my complaint (post 4 here) in greater detail seeing as you misunderstood the first time. Sega haven't even announced these games for PSN yet, Sega have no history of screwing over SCEE PSN Store buyers with later releases like say.. Capcom and here you are making some provocative, negative prediction without any SEGA precedent to back it up.

LOL The entire IGN article was an INTERVIEW ABOUT THE CONTENT itself. So, yes, I'd call that a "reliable source." It was an interview with Media Molecule specifically about the content. What's even more hilarious (and illogical) is the fact that you make a comment saying Media Molecule wouldn't know the release specifics of their own content (meaning they don't have control over it) and then lead on to say that Sega has never screwed over the EU crowd basically (as though all of a sudden, Sega has control over that and not SCEE, unlike MM), lol.
Which is it? it can't be both ways. When push comes to shove, SCEE decides these retail dates not the developers nor the publishers (Sega/MM). You complain that a "blog" site isn't reliable, then it's "IGN" isn't reliable. Give me a break. SCEE sent a PRESS RELEASE around for this content detailing the date. That's how VG247 got it, that's how we got it, and that's how IGN received it.
And yes, I'd say IGN is better than PSU at "fact checking" considering they have UNLIMITED resources in comparison to us. They have the ability to pick up the phone and call any publisher/developer, no questions asked, and get what they're looking for, we don't. That's not even comparable. We don't have nearly the amount of contacts as IGN does.

Aren't most of these on the Wii Virtual Console? Or coming out in Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection? Regardless, I'm gonna pick up Phantasy Star II.
