DICE announced today that the upcoming Mirror’s Edge downloadable content will be available for purchase on January 29, 2009.

Available for the PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 versions of the visually striking action romp, the DLC has players bombing through nine races across seven all new and tweaked Time Trial Maps in an effort shave as many seconds off their play time as possible.

PS3 owners will be able to snap up the pack for USD 10 on PSN, while Xbox 360 owners will have to cough up 800 Microsoft Points via Xbox LIVE Arcade.

No mention of the free PSN/PS3 exclusive level but you do give us the price in Microsoft Points? Just stick to the relevant info please.

no, the PS3 gets one extra stage exclusively, you would know ths if you were paying attention. The games sales so far are respectable, they could be better of course but keep in mind, Recession+holiday title flood=weaker than expected sales.

I borrowed this game from a friend. I've completed the tutorial (played it on the demo anyway) and I really don't know if I can be bothred to play anymore. Not my type of game at all.

I bought this for for a tenner on amazon.  Its a really enjoyable (and frustrating) game but quite short, i completed it in around 4-5 hours or so, maybe a little longer but still very good. Hopefully a second installment will be forthcoming, with a longer storyline.

I know its off topic, but anyone actually play this? I would love to hear if its any good, from anyone other than a review site. The screenshots and cover look lame, but it could be really good. Is it anything more than running around rooftops and jumping from building to building? Any comments?

@9 Yes its real fun but real short at the same time How short ? i finished it two times once in normal and once in hard in 2 days ... there are speedruns and time trials that give it some extra gameplay but they are haaaard :) and you get sick

so i say rent it .... visuals are awsome sounds are great gameplay fun but still a rental
