GTA IV episodic content remains exclusive to Xbox 360

Rumours have suggested that Microsoft paid Rockstar a mammoth USD 50 million to bring episodic content to its Xbox 360 platform. However, it was expected that PlayStation 3 would eventually get the updates later on.
Microsoft dispelled any confusion at its pre-E3 conference last night, by confirming that two episodes would be released for GTA IV, exclusively on Xbox 360, by Spring 2008.
Peter Moore said that Xbox 360 would be the only place to get the "complete GTA experience".
GTA IV is due to be released simultaneously on Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 16th in North America and October 19th in Europe.

i somehow get the feeling the ps3 wont be shafted on the matter of extra content. sony is at sometime in the future getting an expansion for this game whether it be the one ms paid for or not, you know its gunna happen

those guys at M$ must be idiots if thet think R* would make a contract without having some counter measure or something up their sleeve, R* knows that sony supported them since the beggining so either way were getting something. Even if it is our own and "EXCLUSIVE EPISODIC CONTENT", even if it is an expansion with bill gaitas on lingerie so we can shoot the bastard...hope they put that a*sH*L* peter more there 2...

man i dont care bout no exclusive content, just give me a full game of gta, im hearing what a 100 hours of game play cmon thats more than enough, i dont care what microsoft paid, is 50 million worth two episodes.i wouldnt care if it nevercomes out. you know playstation is the home of grand theft auto, their wouldnt be no gta without the name sony

That was a stupid move on microsoft's part to pay that much money for a few hours of game play. They care a lot about their fan boys it seems. The extra episodes are taking so long to come out that no one will even care anymore. Everyone will be playing new games because this fall and spring has so many great titles coming out!
