San Diego Comic-Con showcases PS3/PSP titles

Sony Computer Entertainment America has confirmed it will be showcasing a number of PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable titles at the latest Comic-Con event, which kicks off today at the local Convention Centre in San Diego.

Schduled to run from today until July 29, Sony will be showcasing a number of the latest software titles, including the highly anticipated Eye of Judgement, which utilizes the new PlayStation Eye accessory, in addition to PSP titles SOCOM: Tactical Strike and Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow. Additionally, there will also be several autograph singing oppertunities, as well as the chance to have your picture taken with some familiar faces such as PaRappa The Rapper.

Full details of the event are detailed below:

Thursday, July 26th:
Sony Booth, all day - Kari Wahlgren (voice of Jeanne d’arc) and PaRappa the Rapper will be present at the both signing autographs and posing for pictures, respectively.

Friday, July 27th:
Sony Booth, 12 pm – 6 pm – Visitors will have the chance to feature on the cover of the upcoming PSP title SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Tactical Strike, by suggesting poses with various real-life weapon provided by attending U.S Navy Seals. PaRappa the Rapper will also be present.

Saturday, July 28th:
Sony Booth, 12pm – 6pm – Same as above

Sony Booth, 3pm – 5pm - Greg Rucka, graphic novelist and co-writer for the upcoming PSP title Syphon Filter: Logans Shadow and creative director of Sony Computer Entertainment’s Bend Studio, John Garvin will be present signing Limited Edition Comic Book Covers.

Sunday, 29th July:
Sony Booth, all day – PaRappa The Rapper will be here once again to pose for pictures with fans.

Panel Room, 10.30am – 11.30am – Witness the future of trading card games, with a live demonstration of the forthcoming PlayStation 3 title, The Eye of Judgement. Moderated by Gamespot’s Ricardo Torres.
