New content on the PlayStation Store

A boatload of new content hit the US PlayStation Store in the past 24 hours.

The incredible Heavenly Sword demo is now live. Without a doubt this is absolutely a must-download demo.

Trailers of both Haze and Resident Evil 5 made their way to the store as well. However, more surprisingly, a Metal Gear Solid 4 Gameplay Demonstration was added in addition to the other relatively standard trailers.

Two Heavenly Sword images were posted to use as wallpapers. Don't be surprised if we see more wallpapers each week of various different games, as it's a relatively simple way to keep fans happy and add content.

Many movie trailers found their way onto the store including the likes of 30 Days of Night, August Rush, Across the Universe and Vacancy.

However, perhaps the biggest piece of content of all is currently tucked away in the E3 2007 section. Even in standard definition, Sony's entire E3 2007 press conference comes in at a massive 1.2 GB.

All in all, this week's update was phenomenal. Make sure to check out all of the fantastic content for yourself at the PS Store.

The Heavenly Sword demo was amazing but it was too short! I expect to be able to play a demo for at least 15 mins really. It was over in what felt like about 5.

Hey Reagan14, why don't you like HS demo??? Everybody is saying that it is too short, but this is a good thing. If people want more, then, the game is awesome. That demo was good enough for me to make me buy the game, and count the days until Sept 4th... Don't forget that it's from a very old build, so it can only be better. Curiously yours, Gambler

I've heard alot of great stuff about Heavenly Sword, like, it's a female version if Ninja Gaiden and stuff. But after i tried it, i was VERY dissapointed. Heavenly sword sucks! I would rather get my hands on the Darkness (demo at Europe PSN) or Spyro 2 (Euro PSN buy).

Keep it coming Sony. I think they have done a great job combating M$ on this front. There online service is shaping up to be a very rich experience.

I've already downloaded it all. HS may be the best fighting game I've played in a while. Every thing you do seems cinematic! Next up: LAIR DEMO!!

Heavenly Sword: Awesome graphics, could use a bump in frame rate though. Good gameplay, but needs some balancing. It looks like things will pick up substantially in later levels though. Check out IGN's impressions of the entire second act. http://ps3.ign.com/articles/808/808847p2.html
