Today at Comic-Con Konami USA slipped something that Metal Gear fans will die for. Well maybe not to that extreme, but Anthony Kraus, VP of marketing, revealed that the ever-popular Japanese Metal Gear 20th Anniversary Collection could be heading to the West.

The package contains the original Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops. As a bonus the games are rounded off by DVDs Metal Gear Saga and The Document of Metal Gear Solid 2. All this retails for a mere 6250 yen ($52.70 USD).
Kraus revealed that Konami is currently in talks with major American retailers to bring a "very similar" package to US shores.

will it get an hd upgrade? where it's native resolution is 1080p. If it's standard then I won't get it. I already own them anyway.
