Today you can finally have a look at the world's first Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 gameplay footage.
First of all two videos from WinningElevenBlog.com:
And you can find another gameplay videoclip on the Dutch website Insidegamer.nl.
The game features the new Teamvision system, which significantly improves the AI. For example, if you break through on the left several times, the CPU will notice that and move to prevent it happening again, perhaps by being more defensive on that side.
PES 2008 will be the first real next-generation football/soccer title from Konami. The previous iteration, which was released on Xbox 360, missed a number of modes and failed to show off the capabilities of the system. In fact, the PS2 version remained superior against all other platforms. PES 2008 will be released in October across Europe on all major platforms. The game will probably arrive in early 2008 in North America, just like the previous PES instalments.
More soon.
