Think back PSU patrons and Monolith fans, back to when the developer's design studio and marketing department asked the game industry to vote on the name of the F.E.A.R. sequel. Well as of today, the new name has been announced.
Ok... Ok... enough talking, here it is:
"Project Origin"
Troy Skinner, Monolith producer commented this after noon that, "[o]ur team really enjoyed letting the fans drive the naming process, and we are excited to expand upon the work we began in the original game and establish Project Origin as a premier gaming franchise in its own right."
It is great to see studios like Monolith and Epic offering their fans a chance to join in with the development of future titles.
Keep an eye on PSU for more on Project Origin and future contests from around the gaming industry.

Of course that's the name, Monolith's a sucker for the word "Origin"
But yes, FEAR was an awesome game, hopefully the sequal will make the transition to the ps3 a little better. I preferred the game on my pc that's been outdated as of 2 or 3 years ago over the 360 version i played and i hear the ps3 version was even worse.

FEAR on the console wasn't that bad, however you can tell it was a bit of tossed together port on both systems. I would think that the PC version would top the consoles but as of this sequel, it might turn out to be awesome!

Easy easy....the PS3 version was a crap job. That has nothing to do with the true form of the game. Its not like he was saying that the game itself was sh!t...and besides why can't different people have different opinions on something? Jeez....am a Sony fanboy and even I am not that hard-up.
