Sony Computer Entertainment America has today announced the release of SingStar 80’s and SingStar Amped, the latest installments in the multi-million selling SingStar franchise, exclusively for the PlayStation 2.

Now with a total of four discs in the Singstar collection, players can choose from over 120 songs and videos from a number of popular artists.

Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s London Studio, SingStar 80's and SingStar Amped will hit retail stores and be available as a standalone disc or a bundle packaged including two USB microphones. SingStar 80’s provides tracks from featuring classic artists including Madonna, Duran Duran, Blondie, Cyndi Lauper and Culture Club where as SingStar Amped will include selections from industry legends like Nirvana, David Bowie, Nickelback, Foo Fighters and Alice In Chains.

Also players will enjoy the following features:

- Cooperative Duet Mode
- One on One Battle Mode
- Team-Based Pass-the-Mic Mode which accommodates 8 players
- EyeToy USB camera utilization for video playback
- Move between your Singstar titles seamlessly now with the disk swap feature
