Christian Gyrling, Animation and A.I programmer for Naughty Dog, has revealed that the company’s PlayStation 3 exclusive title Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune has reached gold status in preparation for its North American release on November 20.
"We went 'gold' last week," said Gyrling, in a post on the official US PlayStation Blog. "Right now the game is in other words 100 percent done and is currently going through the approval process."
Naughty Dog Co-President, Evan Wells, added: "Most everything is in the game, and we are just chasing down the last bugs and making a few minor balancing tweaks here and there.”
In Uncharted, players are cast in the role of adventurer Nathan Drake who is in pursuit of the legendary riches of El Dorado, said to be located on a remote Island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean.
However, upon arriving, Drake and his entourage find themselves hunted by a band of blood-thirsty mercenaries, and must use employ a variety of weapons and survivalist tactics to thwart their enemies to uncover the Island's many secrets.
Stay tuned to our review here at PSU in the near future.

Who gives a flying frak if it has multiplayer or not. Multiplayer isn't everything. Anyways, this game looks gorgeous and seems to have all the elements that make a game great. It's another picker upper to say the least.

I could not agree with your more Morganator. People are all stuck on multiplayer. Not every game has to have an online element. I for one miss the good stories. RFOM perfect example great plot. Games are not just about multiplayer some of us enjoy a good adventure with good plot and good story. This game looks great and along with some others that have great plots can survive with out multiplayer and still be good games.

I think the tomb raider comparison is believable. So far from everything I have seen on the game.... it is going to be a huge app.
