Polyphony Digital has announced that it has extended availability of the Gran Turismo 5 Prologue demo on the Japanese PlayStation Store by an additional fortnight.
The demo, previously scheduled for removal on November 11, will now remain available for consumers to download until November 30; as such, this also affords gamers in western territories additional time to download the title, which can be down by creating a Japanese PSN account.
Prologue is the precursor to the final retail release of Gran Turismo 5, and includes a total of 50 cars, five tracks, in addition to full online multiplayer functionality for up to 16 players. The game will also support 1080p HD resolution.
Gran Turismo 5: Prologue is due out in North America on both PSN and Blu-ray disk this winter.
