AOL has launched an awesome deal in time for the holidays - sign a two-year contract for AOL Broadband Wireless Plus and receive a free 40GB PlayStation 3.
In addition, they'll send you a wireless Sixaxis controller (obviously) and the high-flying adventure Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.
Besides the two-year contract (which also includes their AOL Talk call plan - included in the GBP 19.99 bundle), you'll have to pay a shipping charge of GBP 14.99 for the PS3 package. It's a small price to pay for the smile that the shiny black console will bring to your face.
As you may have been able to tell, this is a UK only deal, so all of us United States folks are missing out on the party. So now we know how it feels...

yeah pointless seeing as over 2 years you're paying £480 for a 40Gb ps3 whereas you could buy a 60Gb ps3 for £350 at the moment specially as most places will do interest free credit.
i wont mention that AOL is pretty poor... oops i just did.

AIM on PS3 would be pretty awesome. MSN on 360 is cool, but if AOL and Sony got together to do AIM over PSN that would be a slap in the face to MS.

What we truely need on our PS3s is GAIM. It's like all the best instant messagers rolled into one.
