Battlefield: Bad Company delayed?

Besides Unreal Tournament III, Battlefield: Bad Company is one of the more sought after online shooters this year. Gamers were supposed to get their hands on this title really soon, as in March. Now there are reports that Electronic Arts has pushed the title back to a later date in 2008, perhaps fall or even worse, Holiday 2008. Nothing official just yet as EA has yet to place their comments on this rumor, but if something more comes of this, PSU will be one of the first to bring it to you.
The collaboration between DICE and Electronic Arts was the band that took the industry by storm in 2002 with the release of Battlefield: 1942 for the PC platform. With a unique take on multiplayer gaming, Battlefield presented players with a more open-ended variation of battle in which ground combat combined with air combat rounded out plenty of non-linear experiences. The impact that Battlefield had created branches to spin-off titles such as Lucas Arts’ Star Wars: Battlefront.

It's not Sony's fault, Leeman. The Game is being made by EA, not Sony.

I think all these delays are cause developers are used to games taking alot less time, with the PS2, Xbox, and gamecube, games took so long to make and thats what they are thinking not realizing games are alot harder to make than before. In the next couple years games release dates will be accurate like before

ask yourself this question:
Do you want a crappy game or a awesome game?
now i hope u all picked Awesome, thus meaning you shouldnt worry about delays, its better for them to make the game awesome, than a pile of crap.

this is starting to become second nature in this new gaming next gen world. So evry game I hear is out I expect it to be delayed for about 6 months to a year. It doesn't bother me though.

You know maybe company's should just go back to the old days, where we didn't hear anything at all until the game was done, now they try to give a best guess date to deliver, and everyone complains that the date was missed. Maybe they should just all say the game will come 8 years from now, and then when it comes out in 2 everyone will be like "Oh ya, this dev team rocks! They even got it out 6 years early!!!!" Come on!

I was not aware that this title was that big (looks like I have plenty of company in that dept.)? Games get delayed and they will continue to do so (crying about is a worthless cause). If the game is "all that" when it's released a will by a copy, end of story................
