North American readers looking for a quick bargain may be tempted to point their browsers over to Amazon.com’s page for the PlayStation 3 title, Lair.

The online retail giant has lowered the price of the Factor 5 title from USD 59.99 to USD 36.99, saving you approximately USD 23.00

Lair takes places in a fictional world thwart with war and natural disasters. Two factions, Mokai and Asylians, are engaged in a heated conflict between each other, with player’s casts in the role of a knight named Rohn, a member of the Asylians elite dragon-riding force.

With the noble dragon at your command, Rohn must defeat the onslaught of Mokai forces by engaging them in intense aerial combat on the back of your gigantic winged beast, using whatever means necessary to overthrow the enemy.

So what was the deal on this game?  I heard the controls sucked, but then people defended it as anti-PS3 hype.  Looking back, I can cetainly see how that could happen.  I hope I didn't miss a good came because of BS...

It was an excellent game.  Some of the controls were hard to perform (180 degree turn), but overall, it was a lot of fun.  This and Uncharted (I think) are still the best looking games on the PS3.  Hopefully, they release the analogue controls patch so more people can enjoy this game.

I played it but I just felt that the visuals were way too dark. There were part where I was over the ocean that looked even darker. I tried it on two TVs so I'm not sure if it was just me. The controls sucked, but I guess if you can get a hang of them they wont be so bad. I really don't know about this one. Never heard of a game where some people just thought of it as unplayable and some others actually defending it.
