Atari announced today that the forthcoming Survival Horror title Alone in the Dark would be released in Europe and North America in late June.
The game will hit PlayStation 2, PC, Xbox 360 and Wii in Europe on June 20, with a US release following four days later on June 24. The PlayStation 3 version will be released at a later date.
Speaking to videogaming247, a company representative stated, “The game has been delayed to allow Eden Games - obviously, they’re an Atari-owned studio - to polish the game to an even higher standard. We want to deliver the best possible experience to gamer, because we have a remarkable product.”
“We’ve been getting an incredible response from the people that have seen it in demos. We’ll soon be supplying code to the market.”
Stay tuned.

So, doe sthis mean the PS3 will be the best version released??? Could it actually be? Are they building this from the ground up on the PS3 and not just doing a port?!? If so, then woo-hoo!!! :)

For this, I will wait. This isn't a delay for the PS3 version, it's a steroid injection.
