David Gardner, CEO of Infograms, has said that he expects the upcoming Survival Horror title Alone in the Dark to sell "2-3 million units” across multiple platforms when it launches in June 2008.

Discussing the publishers plans for the year ahead, Gardner told Reuters, "We want to stop losing money," adding, "This management's team number one goal is to get a business plan together that gets us to a break-even level."

The company recently strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Phil Harrison as President, formally head of Sony Computer Entertainment’s Worldwide Studios.

Alone in the Dark is due out on PlayStation 2, PC, Xbox 360 and Wii on June 20, with a PlayStation 3 version following later in the year.

I´ve seen some footage from this game and it seems it has a very good gameplay. Reminds me of resident evil 4 with gadgets.

The PS3 version is coming out too late! End of the year?! For a multiplatform title? This game wont sell too good on PS3.

I've been looking into this game, but as Neameto said, the PS3 version is coming out later than the other platforms version, so I might just pick it up on PC.

Why is the PS3 version making an appearance later in the year? are they not porting and making it seperatly? will we finally see the difference between 360 and PS3! hope so.

This is not good.  The PS3 version is no longer listed on Atari's site under the game.  Atari knows that the PS3 version wont sell if released that much later.  Anyone who wants the game will buy the cheaper ps2 version instead since there will be a 5 month delay for the PS3 version.  I think that by the time the game is released on the other platforms they will cancel the PS3 version.  I thought that Harrison would push them to focus on the PS3 version but I guess I was wrong.

I highly doubt even with all the different platforms that this game will sell 2-3 million. Probably almost 1 million at the most.

    Multiplatform? Check

Desperate publisher looking to "stop losing money"? Check

Bets hedged on last generation sales? Check

    PS3 version a non-important afterthought port?  Check.

This game has "SUCK" written all over it.  You g'head and waste your money if you want to...
