Alone in the Dark was shown at an Atari event today in London and following the proceedings there was a Q&A event with producer Nour Polloni. When asked about how long the game would take from start to finish, the answer given was a resounding 15 hours. Polloni made sure to clarify that this was only if you played through the game at an alarming rate.
Completionists and gamers who enjoy taking in the surroundings of the games they enjoy will find that the game lasts significantly longer than the 15-hour mark given.
Alone in the Dark is a survival horror game and the 5th overall installment into the franchise originally developed by Infogrames. This installment of the series however is being developed by Eden Games and has an expected fall 2008 release window for the PlayStation 3.

not same date release as other versions = boycott and no purchase. Dont let companies treat PS3 gamers as afterthoughts.

I heard that the reason for the PlayStation 3 version coming later is due to the fact that it may be getting exclusive episode content but Xbox 360 won't be.
