Namco Bandai has confirmed that it will not be releasing a demo of Soul Calibur IV until after the game’s release.

According to company representatives at this week’s E3 convention, the developer is currently pooling all resources into getting the finished product ready for its hotly anticipated release on July 29.

As for when gamers could expect the demo, Namco wouldn’t go into any details; simply stating it would be made available sometime "down the road."

Not that I really need to test the game but for others who may be new to the series a demo would be nice in order for them to see if they like it or not. In this time and age demos are essential and should be given in worse case scenario at lauch.

Hmmm not very interesting, I think people would prefer to go out and the game, rather than wait for SC4 demo when it is already available in store as a FULL game; Lame decision. Same ole' Bow to the graceful Wow, Howl within the fog....(PSN ID - Y-Dawg)

I'm a fan(not a big one) of the series but realeasing the demo after the games release isn't a good sign.
