Leipzig: Savage Moon finally revealed

For those of you that were curious as to what the mysterious Savage Moon would entail, Sony did not disappoint when revealing the game in Leipzig today.

This strategy-based PlayStation Network exclusive will play host to a ton of pesky alien bugs. The objective of the game is to protect a single planetary outpost from the hordes of oncoming bugs. While the enemy horde does look like it was pulled straight out of Starship Troopers, the gameplay appears to be very similar to the tower defense style of play (think PixelJunk Monsters).

    Really interested in seeing a gameplay trailer of this.

    Isn't one of Sony's studios behind the Starship Troopers movies anyways?

    Starship Troopers for the win! After all that movie is made from Sony Pictures so what do you expect?

    it's very much like starship troopers. which means i'm very hyped for this game. i might download it, but i'd love it on BD.
