Speaking at the Leipzig Games Convention this week, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima revealed that it is “possible” the Metal Gear Acid franchise may be released for Sony’s PlayStation Network service.

"I'll say yes to that idea, but not because it is already running or anything," said Kojima, during an interview with Eurogamer.

“I'm just saying yes because it's possible, I think it is possible. Sorry to say we don't have specific plans at the moment, but it is possible, yes."

Available on PlayStation Portable, Metal Gear Acid offers a unique twisted on the traditional stealth-based adventure series, with movement and attacks performed in a turn-based manner.

Stay tuned.

I agree willi, Hideo should bring MGPO to the PSN and a sequel maybe(or a prequel to MG1 if you want). Remakes of the original MSX games MG1 and MG: Solid Snake would be great too.

played the first, halfway stop playing it, never finished... It really isn't that good, and is a different story with Solid Snake.

Of course something like that is possible, this isn't really news. it would of been news if he said they were releasing MGA on the PSN, but they don't have plans on it. what kind of dumb *** question is that? Any PSP title can come to the PSN as a title, we know this. now tell us something we don't know.

I think that a remake would be VERY cool, but only if it's got controls like AC!D2, because in the first one they were sloppy and slow.

I'd love to see the AC!D series come to PSN, maybe even go with real cards like Eye Of Judgment or something? Look, the only reason people are saying MGPO is better is because it's closer to regular Metal Gear. MGA is a completely different game for a completely different type of player. There's nothing wrong with it and I'd love to see it continue.
