Nirvana hitting Rock Band 1 & 2 this week

Harmonix has revealed that it will be releasing a track pack based on popular grunge band Nirvana for Rock Band and Rock Band 2 later this week.

This latest downloadable content features a total of seven tracks plucked from the group’s critically acclaimed record, ‘Nevermind’, and will be available for purchase on Xbox Live from October 21, and PlayStation Network from October 23.

Tracks include "Breed", "Lounge Act", "On a Plain", "Polly", "Something in the Way", "Stay Away" and "Territorial Pissings".

PSN users can purchase the entire package for USD 10.99, or grab individual tracks for USD 1.99 each.

    I find that just so expensive, DLC for music at this price shouldn't exist, I'll deff. never buy this game, no wonder there's so much piracy in the music world!

    at #4 - dude, overrated??? Nirvana came with something different in the 90's called alternative if u didn't kown. Controversial yes, but that IS rock, same as Pearl Jam.  They where the first bands to come with this new style.

    I agree with #1. But i have to get this one. More songs would be better but oh well.

    At #4 ....just stfu. Am sry but you dont know what your talking about. One more time music is immoratlized by the fans, a singer dying does not mean the demise of their music.

    Nirvana wasnt alternative, it was grunge, if you are gonna assault my opinion, at least get that straight.  Nu-metal was 10 steps above grunge, and it sucked hard too.  I am entitled to my opinion, we dont live in China.  Besides, the only reason Nirvana had mainstream success and Cobain considered a genius by any means is because Courtney Love killed him.  Yeah...I said it.

    @12: Not sure how old you are, but Kobain was considered all of the above before his death. He wasn't the most talented musician or songwriter, but he knew how to write catchy songs that appealed to the masses. This is a talent. He's not my favorite musician, but he was an effective enima for the trash that preceded him. To even suggest that Nu Metal is on part or > Nirvana is a joke. There is no worse music than today's mainstream "rock," with very few exceptions.
