The latest Prince of Persia has an interestingly close relationship with Assassin's Creed - both games are developed by Ubisoft's Montreal studio, both are powered by the same Scimitar engine, and both feature astonishingly acrobatic protagonists. Ubisoft has made the comparison even harder to ignore by unveiling an Assassin's Creed-themed character skin for the Prince's current generation debut.
The new skin, which reclothes our favourite Persian monarch as the intimidating Altair, will be free to download once you register an account at Ubisoft.com.
"Prince of Persia is an incredible experience," said Ben Mattes, Producer. "We're thrilled to give our loyal fans another way to journey through it. This exclusive reward is a 'thank you' to our fans, who can easily unlock it when they link their Ubisoft.com accounts to their Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 gamer identities."
The game itself is out on December 2 in North America, December 4 in Europe and December 5 in the UK for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Honestly,i think it's a crappy idea, mixing up two of your biggest franchises this early is dumb.Especially considering the fact that so many ppl are skeptical about this new PoP design and direction. It might be taken as a sign of desperation.
